Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Edward Davis.
Survivors: Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her sons, Edward Lee Davis (Bernice) of Compton, Calif., Overseer Alton Davis (Sutricia) of Kilgore, Prophet Lee Andrew Davis (Rachel) of Compton, Calif., Joe Davis of Fort Worth and L.V. Davis (Brenda) of Fort Worth; daughters, Ola Walter (Assistant Superintendent James Walter) of Arlington, Ann Johnson (Pastor Leroy Johnson) of Fort Worth and Pearl Turner (Pastor Horace Turner) of Fort Worth; grandchild whom Viola reared, Bishop K.D. Davis Sr.; 57 grandchildren; 142 great-grandchildren; 81 great-great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
