She was born in Midland Texas on July 29, 1943 to William O'Kelley and Luella Wymore O'Kelley.
She was married to Richard Lee White on May 3, 1974 and was the spice of his life for 46 years.
In 1973 on the floor of her apartment Ginger entrusted her soul and life into the hands of Jesus Christ. Ginger was a member of The Bay Community Church at Runaway Bay, Texas. She loved her personal and group bible studies and was an avid reader of Amish Life Fiction as well as studies in Judaism. She faithfully served as a pastor's wife, bible study teacher to adults, teens and children. Ginger loved all Christian music and also some old country tunes from her youth. She tried her hands at a variety of crafts enjoying the challenge and joy of giving them to others. She collected dolls, Christmas decorations, cookbooks and flower arrangements that she had made. Perhaps special joy was hearing from her children and grandchildren on the phone and shopping with her sisters.
In addition for being a pastor's wife Ginger had been extensively involved in the business world in various roles of influence throughout her 76 years of life.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, LiAnn Grier and son Steven Park; step sons, Danny and David White; 14 grandchildren; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Cochrane, LaDonna Marquis; brothers, David and Butch O'Kelley; many nieces and nephews; several aunts; many cousins and a number of close intimate Christian friends who became like family and stayed in contact through the years.
