It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Walter Raymond Day, who died at the age of 64 after a brief illness on May 24, 2025. Walter “Walt” was a lifelong Texan born in Fort Worth on April 02, 1961.
Walt had a distinguished career in new home sales and management and touched many families as he guided them to the dream of home ownership. He was a McSam Award winner for production and marketing skills.
He had a great passion for all things golf and the buddies he played with over the years.
We will remember his loving spirit and immense humor and the zest for life he shared with so many.
Walt was preceded in death by his parents Sheridan & Nancie Day and is survived by his beloved son Zachary Day, Zach’s wife Ingrid, and his precious granddaughter Hanna.
The funeral will be a private ceremony remembering Walt in the presence of close family, as was his wish.
