I prayed and thought about what I wanted to say about my Pastor.  A poster we used for his 25th anniversary at Faith Baptist Church sums it up.  The poster was a picture of Pastor Bonner behind the pulpit and the phrase He's still here!  No matter the circumstances, Pastor Bonner just kept on keeping on.  Our family had the privilege of sitting under his the ministry for over 36 of the 38 years he was pastor of Faith Baptist Church.  There were some really hard times, there were good times, there were fun times, but there was always spiritual times.  Some of his greatest sermons were preached when our numbers were few and the income was small.  He didn't just preach; he preached with excitement!  He enjoyed what God gave him every bit as much as we enjoyed it as he preached it to us!  After 38 years we can no longer say He's still here. But we rejoice knowing that he is in heaven today  and I'm sure he looks down at the church he ministered to so faithfully and he urges us to keep on keeping on.  We love Pastor Bonner and so look forward to seeing him again.

Pastor Bonner..my sweet, precious leader and teacher... I am so grateful and blessed to have been born and raised under your preaching and teaching.  You are,without a doubt,the best pastor God could have put in all of our lives. I've lived in many places during my adult life and tried several times to find a temporary church home while I was away, but no church,no pastor could compare to you. You weren't afraid to preach the WHOLE truth of God's word..and tell us all the right way to live by God's word.. whether it offended people or not. That's how you loved. He truly cares about our souls.I will never forget you...your silliness,your laugh,your kindness and willingness to help anyone out no matter the circumstance,coming through the front door on Sunday morning and hearing you say "Good morning Sugar", and getting a big warm hug,and mostly..your messages...you had a way of captivating and grabbing the attention of every person and leading them to the Lord,hearts open wide.   You were/are an amazing husband,father,pastor,friend and overall just a very special man. We will continue to pray for your family everyday.  I know you are, more than words can even  describe, ecstatic to be in glory and pain and worry free walking side by side with our All-mighty saviour!! Enjoy your many ,many rewards in heaven and seeing all of your loved ones who went before you. We will see you soon. With Eternal love in Christ...

Pastor Bonner had a passion for the Word of God and a love for his church family that could not be missed. He was never afraid to speak the truth, and he was never too busy to answer questions or give advice. I learned much under his teaching, and I'm thankful to have known him.

Since 1984 there have been four generations of the Davis family saved under Pastor Bonners preaching & teaching of Gods word. We always believed and still do believe that he was a true man of God that loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a wonderful under Shepard that always kept a diligent watch over the flock God gave him. We will always remember him with great love and affection.

Pastor Bonner's preaching was the turning point of my life to truly know and grow in Christ. Every time I get a chance to share about my faith, it always starts from hearing your preachings at Faith Baptist Church. Oh how I used to look forward to going to church and listening to you preaching every Wednesday and Sunday! I miss you and you will be miss dearly. You have touch so many people's life and shape us to be who we are today. Thank you.

You were such an amazing person papa!! We will miss you so much!!! We love you so much!! I know your watching over us!

Dear Pastor Bonner, 
You have taught me so much about life, faith, and loving God. You always prayed for my family and me. I am so grateful for that. You always gave advice that was from the Word of God. You always preached the truth and remained faithful. Thank you for believing in me and helping me throughout all these years. I know I'll see you again in heaven and I miss you dearly.

My Pastor Brother Bonner, you were by far the best Pastor anyone could ever have. No matter what you were always there for any and everybody that needed you, you truly cared for our souls. I am so greatful to have been a part of your life and ministry. Thank the Lord Jesus we had a chance to cross paths. Its bitter sweet now that you are gone but I know one day we will meet again in glory. Until then, I'm going to miss you.

Pastor Bonner, thank you so much for all you did for my family and myself. I would not be the man I am today if not for you. You taught me so much and believe in me; although, you told me I was crazy to into the field of work I choose, you understood it gave me the chance to witness to people that, otherwise, would go unnoticed. I will treasure the memories of you coming to witness with me on the streets of Lancaster and Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth! You were always there for me in my times of need, you help me deal with some of the hardest times in my life, and explained to me that being Saved will not be easy. Boy, were you ever right! I will miss your jokes, I will miss you physical presence, I will miss your messages, but I will not miss your love because I know you will always be with us and one day I will see you again! Thank you for praying for me

I would just like you all to know that Pastor was the one who took me from the gray area's of knowledge of the Lord to the light. He opened up the portals of Heaven to me.His grace to a long hair hippie type he did not judge, but lead with a firm kindness only he had.t o this day I consider him my mentor in all related to the Lord's dealings. He will continue in my heart alway. ...

Blessed are those that believe in ME for on this Day you with live in Heaven with Me  . Those words . Gave  Wayne my brother law  a Godly Man ,a husband, a father, A Papa ,friend, A Son  . Thank you Brother Bonner for introducing me to God. Your preaching and teaching from the Bible was top notch and never watered down. You helped me establish a solid foundation for my faith. Thank you for that. Although we haven't spoken in many years, I knew you always wished the best for me. I pray that the Lord will bring peace and comfort to your family and church. I look forward to sharing stories with you up in heaven when the Lord calls me home. 

Years ago when I was struggling with fear, you gave me a verse to help me overcome that fear. Isaiah 54:17 KJV. That verse has never left my heart and neither has your teachings. Rest In Peace Brother Bonner.

Dear pastor Bonner, thanks for everything you taught be while I was attending faith baptist church. I will cherish those moments forever. I know your in a better place watching down on everyone. I hope to see you again one day.

My Dear Pastor Brother Bonner, such a wonderful Man of God. My heart hurts for the loss of my friend. You not only preached the Word of God to us all but you were the best teacher a church member could have. I know now though you are at the feet of Jesus praising our Blessed Redeemer.  Thank you so much Pastor Bonner for all of your time and dedication through the years, your hard preaching, teaching, steadfastness, advise, counsel and friendship that changed my life and many others through the years. For the laughter and the tears preaching Jesus and preparing us for eternal life, Jeremiah 3:15. I will be eternally grateful. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and my family it was a great privilege to know you, and you will be greatly missed. love in Christ.

Bro.Bonner was a true man of God, who lived what he preached,and loved God and family, and his church,he did a lot for our family as well as others he will be missed, and we are so glad he is now at rest and peace in God's loving arms, we will see him again someday, until then we love you Bro. BONNER,and thank you for everything.

It has really been an honor and privilege to have had Pastor Bonner as our spiritual leader and teacher for the past 36 years. He did so much for our whole family!! My Pastor was the only man I've ever knew that loved even when he wasn't loved back, no matter the circumstance, no matter the problems around him, he always came to church as if the world was at peace. He loved his church and all involved, unconditionally. 
I'll always love him for the man he was, and for making me the man I am today. I truly would be lost today and on my way to Hell if it wasn't for the consistent prayers of my Pastor (I know that the shed blood of Jesus Christ saved me, but because of his love for me and all who came through the doors of his church, I'm here today and will see him in Heaven again). I'll miss his corny jokes, his love and just the presence  he brought with him. All the great memories I have in my heart will always bring me peace just knowing we'll meet again. Thank You Pastor Bonner.

I am so glad to have known Pastor Bonner. He meant alot to me and my family. If it wasn't for his ministry I would not be where I am today. He will be missed dearly but only for a short moment in time and we shall meet him again in heaven. It is well with his soul. Thanks for everything you did. Words can't express my gratitude.

Papa, I am going to miss you so much. You will always be a living example of how to love God and others fiercely. You were the best grandfather a girl could of ever asked for and I am so blessed with so many memories - big and small. Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, oldies music, funny movies, silly jokes, pranks and lets not forget all the Vienna Sausages we would eat together...there are so many times with you that will live in my heart forever! You were always there for me, taught me so much and helped make me the woman I am today! Thank you for your lessons, teachings and unfailing love. I am so thankful to the Lord for the times that I got to spend sitting with you in your last days. You are home now and I will see you again one day. I love you Papa!

A true Man of GOD, what an example of Christian Faith. "Doc" impacted everyone's life he came in contact with, he lived what he preached-you are loved we will meet again.

We are sad that you are gone papa, but know you are in heaven & pain free. We love you so much and will see you again. It's not goodbye, it's see you later.

You are not just my daddy & pastor, you are truly my best friend! I'm so thankful that God gave me you to be my my earthly father. I miss you already, more than any words can convey, but I know it won't be long until our Savior calls us all home. Until then I will remember with great joy all the precious moments we had together, all the lessons you've taught me, all the ways you lived what you believed, all the corny jokes...but most of all, the love of Christ you showed everyone in so many ways. There is such sweet peace in knowing you are home in heaven where you belong and that you have finally met Jesus face-to-face. I know your reward is great and you have heard the words you longed to hear..."Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." I love you so much daddy! Save me a seat next to you at the table!

May God's loving kindness and comfort help you and your family through this very sad time Psalms 29:11

I have known Bro. Bonner for many years. We have had many laughs together and many tears. I got saved under his ministry. He will be missed here on earth. I know that he is in heaven today. My heart grieves for his family and church family. Remember he is not gone, he has just gone on ahead.
