William (Bill) John Souther

FORT WORTH – William (BILL) John Souther was born In Everett, Massachusetts February 25, 1937 to parents Everett Edward Souther and Dorothy Gertrude Osborne, the fourth of their eleven children. Following high school, Bill was in the United States Air Force, serving from April 25, 1955 to December 12, 1958 when he received an honorable discharge. He retired from LTV (Vought) on Jan1 2004 working as a warehouseman for United Aerospace Workers Union Local 848. Bill was united in marriage to Modine on July 3rd 1980 in Fort Worth Texas.

He was an active member of Worth Baptist Church serving as greeter and usher for many years. Besides God and Family, Bill's passion and service to others was evident in his work in the following Masonic orders: Master Mason AF&AM of the Grand Lodge of Texas, Southside Lodge #1114, York Rite Trinity College #154, Knights Templar Southside Commandery #83, Order of the Eastern Star South Fort Worth #835.

Survivors: Bill is survived by his wife Modine, children Michael Souther, Evan and Brooke Souther, step children; Vickie and William Gentry, Jimmy and Patti Roe, and Kevin and Joy Roe. There are 11 grandchildren (Adam, deceased) and 19 great-grandchildren. His brothers and sisters: Robert Francis Souther, John Henry Souther, Dorothy Agnes LaMay(deceased), Rose Marie Kyle(deceased), Lillian Marie Scheri, David Charles Souther, Joseph VIncent Souther, Edward David Souther, Florence Elizabeth Lauziere, Thomas James Souther.
