Debra and family...  It has taken me a bit to write this, but I will miss Uncle Dan for a very long time.  He was one person I could count on to chat with about my family.  He knew everything!  He shared so much about my grandparents, that I never knew.  I am so glad for our occasional phone chats, our frequent emails, and our wonderful political discussions!  He was sharp as a tack!  Most of all, I am grateful that Joe and I had the chance to visit with Uncle Dan last summer.  It was a great visit, and one memory that I will cherish.  I know he is so happy to be in Heaven with Aunt Nellie.  He loved her so much!

Good bye Uncle Dan.   I didn't get a chance to see you very often, but every time Darline and I visited Texas I made sure to stop by and say hello,     I was thinking about you at the end of December and I thought .... I'll just surprise him and call him on New Year's day and wish you a happy New Year.    It had occurred to me that you personally knew me longer than any other living person in the world, not necessarily important,  but interesting (to me).   That day you did not answer your phone and I thought you must just be resting or out.  
Several days later by chance I check Laural Land hoping I would not find you but I did.    RIP next to Aunt Nellie.    Alvin Morales

Worked with Dan when we were with Gentec. I knew Dan even before that when he worked in my territory in Austin and he was good friends with my boss Ted Schuessler. This was in 1971. We stayed friends all this time. Rest in peace Dan.
