William Michael Clynch

William Michael "Mike" Clynch, age 76, of Burleson, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Mike passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was a caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Mike is a graduate of Paschal High School in Fort Worth. After high school, he went on to become a journeyman bricklayer like his father. However, Mike decided to make a change and completed the IBEW electrical apprenticeship program. He finished the IBEW program and became a licensed journeyman electrician. He eventually studied for and passed the Master Electrician exam in Fort Worth. Mike started his own electrical contracting company and worked in the electrical trade for almost 40 years before retiring.

Mike met Marva Jan Kenas in high school, and they were married for 57 years. He is survived by his wife, Marva Clynch, their sons, Scott and Chris Clynch, along with their wives Elfida Clynch and Michelle Clynch, and their children Tashiana, Dean, Payton and Bradley. Mr. Clynch is also survived by one sister, Trish Simpson and niece Jana Engle. Mike Clynch was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Betty Clynch.

The viewing services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 6-8 PM and Laurel Land Funeral Home at 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 11 AM at Chisholm Summit Community Church located at 9705 County Road 1016 Burleson, TX 76028.
