
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boulevard Baptist Church, Burleson, with a Masonic graveside service following in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Jeff Dollar, Jack Bufford, Tom Moore, Jason Harvison, Steven Wallace and Bryan Bourquin.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Boulevard Baptist Church or Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Bill was born in Karma, Okla., on Oct. 11, 1925. He served his country in World War II in the Philippines and Korea. Medals he received included Combat Infantry, Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with Bronze Star, Good Conduct medal, Army of Occupation Victory ribbon, three overseas service bars and lapel discharge pin.
He was a loyal servant to the Lord and his church family. He helped build two churches, Golden Gate in Fort Worth and Elm Baptist at Lake Fork, and the Family Life Center at Boulevard Baptist. Bill was also past Master of Handley Masonic Lodge, Tri-Celestial Master of York Rite, member of Moslah Shriners and York Rite College of Masonry.
Bill was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a quiet man with a remarkable mind and memory. He leaves this life with generations of loving family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara Lew Allen Dollar, and sisters and brothers, Johnnie, Eunice, Vernon, Lewis, Barry, Bob and Joseph.
Survivors: His loving wife of 64 years, Jean Dollar; daughter, Lynda Dollar Janik and husband, Darvis, of Arlington; son, William "Bill" Dollar Jr. and wife, Joan, of Granbury; grandchildren, Julia Bufford, Daria Harvison, Jeff Dollar, Marya Wallace and Dyan Bourquin; cherished great-grandchildren, Jack Bufford, Janna Bufford, Ryan Dollar, Logan Harvison, Mason Dollar, Caden Harvison, Kylie Dollar, Rosalie Harvison and Nolan Dollar; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
