Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family has a fund set up at Wells Fargo Bank in William Darby Martin's name.
Darby was very passionate about trains and Longhorn football, but most of all he loved the Lord. He was a faithful member of Crowley Assembly of God Church. Darby was a wonderful, husband, father and son.
Darby was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Martin Sr., and nephew, Royce Humphery.
Survivors: Wife, Susan; son, Bill; mother, Cynthia; brothers, Robert (Sandra) and David (Lynn); sisters, Betsy Hollingsworth (Mike) and Darlene Jones; aunt, Jo Markwardt (Arthur); uncle, David Hernandez (Arlene); 12 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
