Celebration of life: Noon Friday, Feb. 27, at Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ in Sulphur Springs, Superintendent Nelson Gatlin, pastor, and the Rev. Hugh E. Mitchell, officiant. Interment: 1 p.m Saturday in Hill Crest Garden in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: Noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors.
Survivors: Left with fond and precious memories are a loving and devoted wife of 67 glorious years, Dorthiel Ladd Smith; children, Glenda Thompson (Amos), William T. Smith Jr. (Vicky); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
