FORT WORTH -- William Ellsworth Utter, 78, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Bill was born in Bellevue, Ky., on Jan. 5, 1936. He was a member of the first graduating class of South Oak Cliff High School. Bill served his country for two years in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Utter; and sister, Dorothy Lee Jackson.
Survivors: Wife, Julia Utter; son, William Conner Utter and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Utter; sister, Carol Dugan; brother, Bobby Utter; and several nieces and nephews.
