Celebration of Life: Friday 11:00 a.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church, the Reverend Ralph W. Emerson pastor, officiating. Burial: In the Garden of Paradise in Cedar Hill Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation: Friends of Mr. Sanders may visit him Thursday from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Mr. Sanders had served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1952. Survivors: children; Demitria O'Conner(Timothy), Willie George Sanders II, and Denise Johnson;several generations of grand and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
