Willie is lovingly remembered by his wife, Ima Thompson; one daughter, Tashima Sanders; two sons, Willie Beamon and Ikaela Beamon; one step daughter, Lovell Walker; three step sons, Dwight Walker, Calvin Walker and Terence Walker, Sr.(Anna); three sisters, Margaret Thompson, Jeannette Alexander(Cyrus) and Jean Thomas(Kembers); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
