Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1188 West Broad St., Dr. Michael A. Evans, pastor, officiating. Interment: 1 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors; family and friends will gather at 7 p.m. at the church for a time of remembrance.
Mr. Ward served his country in the United States Navy.
Survivors: Left in the caring hands of the Almighty are his loving and devoted wife, Sandra Townes Ward; his daughter, Rosalyn Ward Greer; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
