Willis Hopkins passed away beyond the vale of tears on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2951 Evans Ave. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. Survivors: Wife, Bobbie Jean Neal-Hopkins: sons, Willis Keith Hopkins, Tony Hopkins and Terrence Hopkins (Shonta); daughters, Debra Cox (Ricky), Gerilyn Hopkins and Crystal Hopkins; brother, Clem Hopkins (Lois); sisters, Bernice Hopkins, Virty Harris (the Rev. James), Juanita Hopkins; brothers-in-law, Ricky Jenkins (Carla), Curtis Miller and Eugene Coleman; sister-in-law, Peggy Spain (Connell); and a host of relatives and friends.
