Bill was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Fort Worth to Howard and Evelyn Gault. He attended Polytechnic High School and went on to earn his BA from North Texas State and then received his master's degree from TCU. Bill taught at Paschal High School, TCJC, UTA and Dunbar Magnet School. He married Patricia Habern on Feb. 17, 1961.
Bill was preceded in passing by his parents; sister, Helen; and wife, Patricia.
Survivors: Sons, Billy Parker and wife, Cindy, of The Woodlands and Jon Parker of Rendon; granddaughters, Patricia Tate and husband, Ryan, Ashlee Smith and husband, Kevin, of The Woodlands and Holly Parker and fiance, Corey, of Rendon; great-grandchildren, Mason, Parker and Blake; niece, Janice Baskett; sister-in-law, Doll Crume and husband, David, of California; brother-in-law, Donald Habern and wife, Rita, of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other loving friends and family.
