Wylie Glen Grace Jr.

Wylie Glen Grace Jr., Age 69, of Burleson, TX died Thursday, June 27, 2019, from complications during surgery. He passed with his family nearby. Wylie was born December 10, 1949, the son of Wylie Glen Grace Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Winstead. He married Sherry Underwood on August 15, 1969, a marriage that lasted over 49 years. He retired from a long career as a forklift mechanic with Briggs Equipment. Through good times and hard, he worked to support his family with his whole heart. A man that we remember in all the ways we each can only strive to be remembered. His life is a true story of family, laughter, and dedication. He enjoyed gardening and using the produce to make large batches of hot salsa with family. He was a hard worker and taught many young people strong work ethic and the value of a dollar. Wylie enjoyed the simple things such as having long conversations and playing dominos with friends and family.

Wylie is Survived by his wife: Sherry Grace, daughter and son in law, Cynthia and Roger Morgan, daughter Alicia Kuykendall, grandson Kevin Grace and wife Liz, granddaughter Ashley Gee and husband Matt, granddaughter Karyssa Kuykendall and great grand children; Raedyn Gee, Shelby Allen, and Avia Grace.

Wylie was predeceased in death by his mother, Martha Elizabeth Winstead; his father, Wylie Grace Sr. And his sister, Regina Kay Ramon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, in memory of Wylie Glen Grace.

A memorial service will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park located at 7100 Crowley Rd. Ft. Worth, Tx 76134 in the Chapel of Chimes on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
