I learned of Yovi's passing this morning after taking my pets to NWAH this morning. She was the one who checked us in when we had to say goodbye to our cat and I will never forget her warmth and compassion. The next week when I went to pick up his ashes she told me how sorry she was. I told her it was alright and she said "No, it's not. And you deserve a hug". She came around the counter and gave me a tight squeeze. What a lovely woman. I did not know her well but she touched my life while she was here. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I just heard the news about Yovi's passing this afternoon when I went to Northwest Animal Hospital.  My heart is just broken.   What an enthusiastic and energetic person who always had a kind word and a pat on the head for my Australian Shepherds.  I will really miss seeing Yovi when I head to the vet, and I'm so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family and co-workers.

I just learned of Yovi's passing this morning when I stopped by Northwest Animal Hospital. I always enjoyed seeing her bright smile and chatting with her when I brought my pet by. She will be greatly missed. I am so very sorry for your loss, and my prayers are with you.

I just learned of Yovi's passing today; she will be deeply missed.  Yovi's friendly greeting when we called or visited NWAH made us feel welcome and right at home. She was compassionate and kind.  We will remember her fondly.

Yovi's warm welcome and joyful smile has greeted us and our animals on visits to NWAH over the years. Her seat was empty today and my heart began to break when I learned of her passing. This world has lost one of its brightest lights, a beautiful, caring soul who calmed us when our "babies" were sick and comforted us when they were gone. She will be missed! Our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the family at NWAH.

Yovi's passing came as a great shock to me.  She was a ray of sunshine and I will miss her smiling face.  Even though I only saw her when I visited NWAH, I feel as though I have lost a dear friend.  My prayers go out to your children and grandchildren.

I was so sad to learn of Yovi's passing when I stopped by NWAH to pick up food today.  The last time I was there she was not feeling well and looked so thin, I was hopimg to see her smiling face this time.  Yovi was always so happy and cheerful and greeted everyone with a smile.  We will miss her.

I just learned of Yovi's passing.  I will always remember Yovi as a vibrant, joyful smile. When I entered NWAH she always greeted me with a huge smile and a "Hello Mrs. Metzger!" Always so sincere, so caring. She will be missed by many--two legged and four legged alike.  My condolences to her family, friends and her NWAH family.

I was so devastated to learn of Yovi's sudden passing. The world has lost a beautiful, kind person and I know Yovi has joined her husband. I will so miss seeing her bright smile and her loving care to me and all the clients at NWAH. RIP Yovi.

I was heartbroken to learn that  shining, joyful, beautiful - inside and out, caring, kind, Yovi has left us. What a lovely rare treasure she was, and how she will be missed by all that ever met her. Oh sweet Yovi, I was devastated to learn of your sudden passing.  I always looked forward to your kind greetings each and every time I visited NWAH with my little shihtzu girls. You certainly lit up the room with your smile and style.  You're the only person I know that could make a scrub outfit look like designer wear. Matching cute glasses and shiny jewelry...loved everything about it and you.  My sincere condolences to your family and all your coworkers.    I hope our sweet girl Snuggles greets you in heaven. I took our new dog to NWAH on Dec. 13 for a checkup.  I was hoping Yavi would be there--I couldn't wait for her to meet our new little girl.  That's when I got the devastating news.  Some people are so beautiful and vibrant--they light up a room.  Yovi was that person.  I've known her for 15 years.  She was the first person at NWAH I talked to when I adopted my dog, Cody.  And she met me at the door to greet me with a hug and a compassionate smile when Cody passed 13 years later.  She made everyone feel special.  I will miss her bright jewelry and fun reading glasses.  She had a style all her own.  The last time I saw her was in October.  She said something funny and we laughed so hard.  I will always remember that last conversation.  Rest in peace, dear Yovi.  Peace and love to her family.

Yovi, a wonderful, happy spirit with a smile to match! I will miss that chipper grin every time I was at |NW An  Hosp. I will also miss those hugs when times were tough. A kind and warm-hearted soul, one of the nicest people I've had the honor to know My deepest sympathies to her family and work family.

Yovi's expertise, smile, and tender heart made each and every trip to NWAH a visit with friends, not a trip to the vet's office.  We will miss her dearly.

What can one say when an amazing person, as well as being the sweetest face of Northwest Animal Hospital—Yovi; leaves us all way too soon?  When I went to pick up the special diet food, for one of our dogs, I was devastated to learn of her passing.  Yovi was always available to give you a hug, if your dog was sick and, in two cases—where two of our dogs passed, she made it clear that she too felt my (& our family's) pain.  When I relayed Yovi's passing to my daughter, she said, “How horrible for her kids—losing both parents so close together (her husband passed fairly recently) and what a major loss for the patients (dogs, cats and humans) of NW.”    I could not agree more.  Yovi, we know you will be surrounded in Heaven with all the dogs that made their way there before you—that you will be loving on them like you did here; and we will try to take some comfort in that, but none of us were prepared for your sudden departure.

Some people just have a light, a glow about them.  Yovi had that about her.  She was special.  Always a happy hello, a kind word for everyone at NWAH, all the while looking like the fashion plate she was in her coordinating outfit and jewelry.  She was beautiful inside and out.   Yovi loved people and their animals and it showed in everything she did.  She was one of those people that made an impression on you.   She used the word goddess a lot.  She was truly a goddess of goodness, love and kindness.  I am honored to have known her and will miss her so.

What a loss this world has taken.  Yovi was always there to comfort me when my animals were sick or dying.  My heart goes out to her wonderful coworkers at NWAH.  I can't imagine the loss her family feels.  My heart goes out to them.  Rest in peace beautiful Yovi.  You will be dearly missed.

Words don't begin to express what a shock it was to hear of Yovi's passing. She was one of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met. She made everyone feel important and loved. What a loss to all those at NWAH and for myself.  She has helped me so many times during my time of loss of my Furry Friends.

Yovi was one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the honor of knowing.  Her personality would light up the waiting room at NWAH.  She was always pleasant and friendly, and so very caring.  She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

My heart is just broken. I've lost my friend, my confidant, and the person who made Northwest Animal such a joyous place to work. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
