A Visitation will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park.

A lifelong Texan, Yvette was born on May 8, 1964 to James and Mary Blakeman (Bennett), in Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up in the community and attended Eastern Hills High School, where she made lasting friendships and memories. Yvette was a devout Christian who loved Jesus deeply, and her faith guided the way she lived and loved. She was kind to everyone regardless of appearance or situation, and will be remembered for her soft, loving heart for others. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was a devoted mother and grandmother who poured her heart into creating a home filled with love. Her children and family could always call on her any time of day or night.

Yvette enjoyed an ice-cold Diet Dr Pepper, horses, thrift shopping, taking her kids camping and on vacations, giving hugs and cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her loving heart, wisdom, strength and steady guidance will be deeply missed by all.

Yvette is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Randall Fox; her mother, Mary Allene Balthrop; her father, James Neil Blakeman; and her stepmother, Rhonda Blakeman.

She is survived by her four children, Janine (Bobby) Corio, Jacob (Kayla) Darling, Jesse Darling and Abbigail Fox. She also leaves behind her five cherished grandchildren, Giavanna, Genesis, River, Grace and Gemma. She is also survived by three older brothers Jimmy, Bryan and Scot Blakeman.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to a fund for Abbigail. This fund was set up when her father Randy passed in 2011, and will continue to support her college education and lifelong aspirations.
