Zeola Faye Morgan was born April 8, 1941, to the parentage of Solomon Ray and Zeola Faye Edwards. She is affectionately known as “Baby.” She was the 8th born of 10 children. She grew up in Fort Worth and was a proud resident of the Riverside community of 85 years. She attended I.M. Terrell High School and was a member of Eastland Church of Christ.
Zeola married Lee Floyd Morgan in August of 1960 and was blessed with 3 children, Victoria, Lisa and Theodore. She worked at Tarrant County Junior College in Hurst, then moved on to work for many years at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth until her retirement.
Zeola is well known in the community of Riverside. Because of her giving spirit, she and Floyd would share prepared meals with many residents of the community at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone knew Baby or Ms. Zeola. She met so many people along the way who she could call on for handy work, or some would come by and ask, “is there anything I can do for you?” She had such a kind spirit and she loved people. She also loved to entertain. Her house was the go-to house for family gatherings. There was never a dull moment when her brother Allen and sister Barbara were in the house.
