She is survived by her children, Marion Winget, James Winget both of FL, Janet Sargent of WY, Sandra LaBarge of MA; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Henry Winget, by her daughter, Linda Bradley, and by her siblings.
Alvena was born on June 8, 1928 in Boston, daughter of James Leo and Alvena Sebastian (McGraw) Calhoun. She was raised and educated in Boston and moved to St. Petersburg, FL, in 1976. She was a homemaker for most of her life and moved to Medway upon her health’s decline.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
