Son to Beverly and Jeffrey Mix of Ashland (formerly of Natick), brother to Donnie Rogers & brother-in-law Paul Rogers of Hawaii, Christopher Mix and wife Melissa Mix of Holliston, MA, an uncle to his nieces and nephews Jarred Montero, Lily Rogers, Ethan Rogers, Jaxlynn Mix, Zoey Mix, and Bodhi Mix.
Andrew is predeceased by his loving grandparents Arthur & Renee Mix (formerly of Wayland, MA) and Ingracia & Casimiro Saniatan (formerly of Hawaii).
Growing up, Andrew always had a passion for wrestling and the mixed martial arts. He enjoyed attending wrestling events, as well as participating on the wrestling team during his youth. He enjoyed gatherings with friends and family watching MMA events. Andrew also enjoyed reading and had a great knowledge about the things he was passionate about. He particularly enjoyed reading biographies and modern history. His biggest passion of all was his daughter Sky. Andrew had said that becoming a father was the best feeling in the world. Andrew loved her so very much, and we know he will continue to watch over her from above. Andrew and his mother also shared a very special bond that holds a love that can never be broken.
More recently, Andrew was a member of the Program RISE community in Framingham. This program is a multi service integrated community prevention program offering health and social services to people in the Metro West area. Program RISE believes that all people should have the opportunity to live healthy lives. Andrew’s family would like to thank the community at RISE that became a second family to Andrew, and a special thank you to Sarah and Kelsey for all their encouragement and support of Andrew.
A private memorial for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Program RISE in Andrew’s honor. Program RISE | Justice Resource Institute (jri.org)
