Doris E. Johnson, age 80, of Sudbury, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Born in Dorchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Eric Johnson and Esther (Benson) Johnson.
In life, Doris loved history. She enjoyed learning as much about US History as she could, holding a primary interest in Colonial America and World War II. She was a kind soul, beloved by friends and family alike. She was deeply proud of her Swedish history, at one time traveling to Sweden with her Father. This memory was particularly special to her. She was a cherished individual and will be greatly missed.
Doris is survived by her brothers Robert Johnson and his wife Jean of Abington, and Paul Johnson and his wife Susan of Duxbury. She is also survived by her beloved Godson, Michael Nelson of New Bedford. She joins her pet and companion Emerald, her cat, whom she adored and whose ashes she kept with her in passing.
At the request of the family, the services for Doris will be held privately with the assistance of Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Rd., SUDBURY.
