Elizabeth A. Mahoney, age 75, of Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away on April 5, 2026. Born on March 6, 1951, in Newton, MA, she was the compassionate, cherished, and thoughtful daughter of the late Grace De Maura (Grant) and Anthony De Maura.
Betty attended and graduated from Newton North Highschool.
Betty thoroughly enjoyed a career in retail at the Natick Marshalls for several years. Working at Marshalls and her co-workers were a source of joy for Betty, as she enjoyed retail personally and professionally.
Betty had a large heart for animals, especially cats, which she and her family gave a good home to—sharing their love and comfort with cats in need.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth Mahoney; daughters Dawn Mahoney and Cheryl Barrows; her brother Brain De Maura; as well as her granddaughter Heather Barrows.
Betty will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
