George A. Johnston, of Framingham, MA, died September 15, 2017 at home. Devoted husband of Doris (Tonks); loving father of Richard, Kenneth and his wife Deborah, Barbara, and the late Lynne Helmuth. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. George loved golf and gardening, and was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church since 1960. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 29 at 10:00, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 3 Maple St, Framingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
