Hugo Roberto Alvarez of Framingham, Massachusetts died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston September 9, 2014. Born June 26, 1961 in Quatemala, he was 53 years of age and the son of Rolando Alvarez and Yolando Castaneda. In addition to his father he leaves his wife, Zoila Mejia Alvarez; his sister, Janeth Barillias; his brothers, Rolando and Fernando Alvarez and other family members. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the MetroWest Funeral and Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham and will include visiting hours at the funeral home Sunday, September 14, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 15, at 10:00 AM at St. Steven’s Church, 228 Concord St., Framingham, followed by burial at St. Tarcisius Cemetery. Framingham.
