

Jean A. Chiverton (Crampton), formally of Framingham, a devoted and kind-hearted soul, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Throughout her long life, Jean was defined by her resilience, selflessness, and unwavering love for her family.
Born in London, England, on May 20, 1933, to William and Emily (Lewis) Crampton, Jean grew up in London where she met the love of her life with whom she enjoyed 54 years of marriage with her late husband, Maurice Chiverton. A woman of strong will and intellect, Jean enjoyed a successful career as a manager at Raytheon and Control Logic, where her leadership and dedication earned her the deep respect of her colleagues.
Jean was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Maurice; her sisters, Patricia Ralton and Emily White; and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Chiverton.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Willard and her husband Robert of Newbury, MA; her son, Steven Chiverton of Taunton, MA; her granddaughters, Krista Willard and her fiancé Damon, Ashley Willard and her significant other Adam, Michael Chiverton and wife Taylor; and her eight great-grandchildren, Kali, Troy, Adalynn, Adam, Ryder, Carmela, Austin and Matteo.
Jean’s life was enriched by her love of reading and traveling, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family. Her generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Service Information: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association or the American Diabetes Association.
