Juan Antonio Otero Rodriguez, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, passed away unexpectedly on September 21st, 2025. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on July 22nd, 1985 to Luis Angel Otero and Norma Rodriguez.

He graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, Marlborough, Massachusetts receiving his high school diploma, and certification for Major Appliance Repair. He played for the boys’ basketball team, always ready to win and was a great team player.

There are so many things that Juancito was passionate about that not all could possibly fit on paper. Juan, enjoyed making others laugh no matter the circumstances, he always brought light. He loved all things created by Our Heavenly Father including: animals (everyone was a turkey), family, friends, hiking or anything in nature, riding bicycles, fishing, paint balling, riding dirt bikes, playing all kinds of sports: boxing, baseball, basketball, motocross, snowboarding, swimming, and he truly enjoyed playing on the PlayStation with his siblings and nephews. He planned on one day relocating to the mountains in Vermont, always having aspirations in life.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Simeon Otero and grandmothers Felicita Torres and Sara Reyes.

Juan is survived by his mother Norma Rodriguez, father Luis A. Otero and five siblings: Emanuel, Yarixa, Natacha, Gajaira, Angel and his wife Heather Otero. Juancito was also an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews: Kayla, Michael, Angel Jr., Isaiah, Bella, Jonnathan Jr., Josiah, Dailanyz, Davyan, Emani, and Anaisa.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home, Advantage Funeral & Cremation, 318 Union Ave, Framingham, MA from 11AM - 12PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Interment to follow.
