

Patricia Gencarella of Framingham died Friday, March 15, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family following an illness of three years. She was 57 years of age and the wife of the late Natale Gencarella. Born in Brighton, MA September 28, 1955, she was the daughter of Daniel A. and Alice (Fantoni) Cicconi of Framingham. Mrs. Gencarella was a graduate of Framingham State College and most recently was employed by The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester as a Financial Aide Adviser to students. She was formerly employed by the University of Massachusetts and Digital Credit Union. Mrs. Gencarella loved her family and enjoyed travel, antiques, and was especially fond of music, particularly classic rock, and attended many concerts. In addition to her parents she leaves her son, Nicholas D.Gencarella of Framingham; her daughter and son in law, Nicole and Christopher West of Westerly, RI and Matthew Gencarella of California. She also leaves her brother and sister in law, Daniel and Dora Cicconi of Milford and her grandson, Gavin Gencarella. She was the niece of Amelia and Margaret Fantoni of Framingham, Carmella Sweeney of Brighton, Eleanor True of Framingham and sister in law of
Linda Logan of Charleston, RI. She was the aunt of Emily Cicconi, Seth Logan and John Vocatura and leaves many loving cousins, especially Anne Marie Mingolelli of Weymouth and her children Brian and Jenna. In addition to her family she leaves many friends especially those at Holy Cross and the University of Massachusetts and DCU. There will be a Memorial Funeral Mass celebrated Friday, March 22, at 10:00 am at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St., Rt. 135, Framingham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care Pat received from Dr. Jacob Laubach and Nurse Ginger at the Dana Farber Cancer Inst. And Attorneys Michael Heineman and Sally Kinder for their legal advisories .
