Philip Gordon Baker of New Castle, NH and formerly of Framingham, MA, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA following a brief illness. He was 81 and the husband for 59 years of Carolyn (Atwell) Baker. Born in Framingham May 4, 1933, he was the son of the late Orin and Fannie Davis Baker. He was raised and educated in Framingham and was a graduate of Boston University; after which he served as a 1st Lt. in the United States Air Force. In his professional life Mr. Baker was a financial consultant. In addition to his wife Carolyn, he leaves two sons: John P. and Stephen G. Baker of New Hampshire. He was the brother of Ann Baker Jenkins of Maryland and the late Alma Campbell and also leaves nieces and nephews. Family funeral service will be held at the MetroWest/Wadsworth-Chiappini Funeral Home, 318 Union Ave., Framingham followed by interment in the family lot at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
