

He was born in Boston, MA on July 11, 1945, to Ethel (Brown) and Samuel Landy .
After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army, where he trained as an auto mechanic. After his military service he worked as a security guard at Marlborough Hospital, and Digital Equipment Corp. During his retirement he worked part time as a Sales Associate at Sears Department Store in the tool department.
Phil met the love of his life, Gloria, while they were both employed at Marlborough Hospital. It was a real life “General Hospital.”
Phillip was passionate about cars, motorcycles, and anything with an engine. He enjoyed going to New England Speedway, Epping NH to watch the races. He and his wife enjoyed canoeing and taking long rides all over New England.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Landy, his step-daughters, Susanne Pearson and Joanne Conner Erdi, and grandchildren, Natalie Monteiro, Andrea Pearson, and Drew Pearson.
Visitation will be held in the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 318 Union Ave, Framingham, MA, on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 5-6PM. A service will follow at 6PM.
