Phyllis Elaine (Saari) Riihimaki, age 88, of Braintree, passed away peacefully on, Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Born in Quincy, MA. She was the daughter of the late Lina Miriam (Julian) Riihimaki.
Phyllis always loved going to the beach, swimming and especially watching the waves crash on the rocks. She took many trips to New Hampshire and Maine with family, hiking to waterfalls and up mountains. She was a huge Boston sports fan, especially the New England Patriots and her favorite player Tom Brady.
Phyllis is pre-deceased by her daughter Kristine Riihimaiki and is survived by her children, Judy Bowman of Marlborough, Michael Riihimaki of Lowell, grandchildren Dave Bowman, Mikaela Lorenzano, Derek Riihimaki, Laurie Bailey, great-grandchild Eden Claire Bailey, her long time care-giver John DeAndrea, as well as Karen and Corey Heath whom she always considered family.
