

Ruth leaves four children, Janice Peterson and her husband Allan of Port Richey, Fla., Barbara Laflamme and her husband, Leo of Grafton, Mass., Marilyn Zaino and her husband, Frank of E. Greenwich, RI and Kenneth Riley and his wife, Lori of Shirley, Mass., her sister, Lillian Fulton and her husband, Bob, of Framingham Mass, her nine grandchildren, Gary Nelson and his wife Gladyce, Jamie Nelson and his wife Michela, Christopher Underwood, Karen Underwood, Leeann Riley, Rebecca Riley, Alicia LaMier, Taryn LaMier, and Kristen LaMier and four great-grandchildren, Trevor Nelson, Jamie Nicole Nelson, Keith Bogan and Corey Bogan. Her other sister, Louise Stevenson predeceased her many years ago.
Born March 12, 1935 daughter of James K. Stevenson and Mildred (McGill) Stevenson of Belmont, Mass. where she grew up.
Ruth and her husband, Norman were married for 62 years and Norman went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2007.
Ruth worked briefly before she was married and then provided a loving Christian home for her family. She enjoyed entertaining and travelling with friends but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was very involved with Christian Womens Club in Framingham and also was very involved with her church, Crossroads Community Church formally Village Bible Chapel in Framingham. Ruth loved caring for others and serving the Lord.
A private burial at the Massachusetts National Veterans Cemetery in Bourne, Mass will be held on April 18th where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
A memorial service will be held on April 19, 2014 at 2 PM at Crossroads Community Church 1341 Edgell Road Framingham, Mass.
