Suzanne Burke

Suzanne M Burke (Brink) of Framingham MA passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2026 surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was 81 years old.

Born in New York, Suzanne was the daughter of Fred and Mary (McHugh) Brink. Although she moved to the Boston area early in life, she always remained a proud New Yorker and a devoted New York Yankees fan.

Sports were one of Suzanne's greatest sources of joy. Baseball was her first love, but she also faithfully followed NFL football, the excitement of March Madness, and the PGA Tour. Whether watching a game on television or discussing the latest scores with family and friends, she delighted in sharing her enthusiasm.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald. It brings comfort to all who knew them to imagine them reunited once again - birdwatching, cheering on favorite teams, and enjoying the seashore they both loved so dearly.

She will be remembered for her kindness, warm sense of humor, gentle and simple spirit, and the laughter she shared with everyone. Her love of family included Inky and Sparky, her beloved cats.

Suzanne is survived by her step children, Timothy Burke, Beverly Storms, Christopher Burke, and Martha OBrien; her seven step-grandchildren; her siblings Virginia "Ginger" Sheldon, Frederick Brink, Charles Brink, and Kenneth Brink; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Private memorial services will be held. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Audubon Society in Suzanne's memory.
