Aja Nicole Verdun

Aja Nicole Verdun, resident of Patterson, LA, was born on May 19, 1995, to Judith Brown and the late Galen Verdun in Franklin, LA. She passed away peacefully on Friday June 5th, 2026, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her children Kal-el and Karli Todd of Patterson, La; mother Judith Brown of Fort Worth, TX; brothers Kendall (Daniella) of East Providence, Rhode Island and Darien Verdun of Fort Worth, TX; sisters Azireion Verdun of Franklin, LA and Genesis Maize of Morgan City, LA; grandmother Patricia Verdun of Verdunville, LA; nephew Aubrey Verdun of Fort Worth, TX; niece Marialis Brown-Vasquez East Providence, Rhode Island, significant other Antione Todd of Patterson, LA; godfather Effrem Brown of Morgan City, LA; and godmother Shannon Verdun of Verdunville, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Galen Verdun; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L Brown Sr and paternal grandfather Hayward A Verdun Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana.
