Catina Yelling McCurtis

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Unity 1 Baptist Church 8526 LA-182 Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery in Charenton, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Durell McCurtis of Franklin, Louisiana; her mother, Emma Ann Yelling of Franklin, Louisiana; one son, Dehari McCurtis of Franklin, Louisiana; one daughter, Daelyn McCurtis of Franklin, Louisiana; two stepsons, Durell McCurtis, Jr. of Franklin, Louisiana and Dre'Shond McCurtis of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Raychiel (Marshall) Lee and Monique Yelling, both of Franklin, Louisiana, and Catriena (Donell) Yelling Buckley of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Catina was preceded in death by her father, Raywood "Pee-wee" Yelling; her fraternal grandparents, Florence and Horace Yelling; maternal grandparents, Virginia and Iwren Milton; and one nephew, Antoine Yelling.
