Joseph Provost

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Nazarene Baptist Church 7416 Highway 182 Franklin (Verdunville), Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Nazarene Baptist Church Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four brothers, David (Sheila) Provost, Hosey (Minnie) Provost, Jr., both of Franklin, Louisiana, Monroe Provost of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Edward Provost of Baldwin, Louisiana; four sisters, Lorraine (Lance Kevin) Smith, Lois Batiste, both of Franklin, Louisiana, Roxanne Provost of Patterson, Louisiana, and Brenda Charles of Loureauville, Louisiana; one godson, Jeremy JaJuan Rideaux of Bunkie, Louisiana; seven goddaughters, Kimoyona Payton and Jaismariah Delasbour of Franklin, Louisiana, Alaisha Ina of Bunkie, Louisiana, Charlezette Mack of Houston, Texas, Cheryl Freeman of Sioux City, Iowa, Nickey Nedd Leonard, and Jazzlene Rack, both of Lafayette, Louisiana; one aunt, Martha Elair of Franklin, Louisiana; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe & Winnie Provost; his sister, Amelia Johnson Daniels, and grandparents, Ozema & Amelia Sam Rideaux.
