Rudy Joseph Duchan

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1011 1st Street Patterson, Louisiana. Mass of Christian Burial can be viewed on live stream at https://www.facebook.com/JonesFuneralHomeInc. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Teresita Broussard of Lafayette, Louisiana; three stepdaughters, Ina (Alvin, Sr.) Irvin of Patterson, Louisiana Jo-Lynn (Jonathan) Dardar and Tina (Kevin Hamilton) Young, both of Houston, Texas; stepsons, Joseph C. Young, III of Patterson, Louisiana, Willie (Winnie) Louis Jeff, Sr. of Houma, Louisiana, and Mark Jeff of Patterson, Louisiana; his first wife, Geraldine Broussard; his godparents, Frank and Jackie Price; a god sister, Deborah Price; and god brother, Leonard Price; twenty one grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.

Rudy was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Duchan; his mother, Rosetta Verrett; wife, Betty Young Duchan; his second wife, Rose Dell Duchan; his stepdaughter, Rosa Lee Jeff; and his stepson, Terry Clay.
