Shirley Green

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Charenton, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her two sons, Harry James (Felicia) Green, Jr. of New Braunfels, Texas, Aaron (Kayla) Green of New Iberia, Louisiana; her daughter, Jerrica Green of Lafayette, Louisiana; three sisters, Caroline Jackson of Franklin, Louisiana, Janice Jackson of Baldwin, Louisiana, and Genevieve Jackson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Derrick Green; her parents, Dolphy Jackson, Sr. and Genevieve Jackson; her siblings, Dolphy Jackson, Jr., John Jackson, Edna Jackson, Effie Mae Harris, Rev. Willie Jackson, and Clifford Jackson.
