Thomas McLury Phillips

Thomas McLury Phillips, age 75, a native of Pineville, Louisiana and a resident of Franklin, Louisiana transitioned peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana.

Thomas was a man who wore many hats! Marine Veteran, retired truck driver, funeral and celebrity escort, Deputy Marshall for the 3rd Ward City Marshalls Office-Franklin, Louisiana, member of the St. Mark Lodge #25-Franklin, Louisiana, and the owner of Blazer Trucking, just to name a few!

He is survived by his son, Thomas R. (Angelique) Phillips of Anaheim, California; his daughter, Elizabeth (Michael) Phillips Chiles of Cerritos, California; two brothers, Ronald Armstrong of Patterson, Louisiana and Darryl Robinson of Los Angeles, California; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, along with host of family and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Warren Phillips, Sr.; his mother, Florence Hatch; and a brother, Warren Phillips, Jr.
