K. Angeline Hammond

She was born August 19, 1928 in Franklin the daughter of Edward W. and Katherine M. (Dumond) Grant. She married Floyd Hammond on July 4, 1954, and he predeceased her on February 15, 1983.

For 42 years, Angie was a local Avon representative, as well as being an active member of the Aldrich Baptist Church in North Franklin.

Angie is survived by five cousins, Pauline Brown of Sharon Springs, Linda Banks of Albany, Helen Neidhammer of Schenectady, Dewey Grant of Schenectady, and Shirley Brady of Delhi.

She was predeceased by a son Shawn Hammond and a brother, Edward Grant.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, 425 Main St., Franklin, NY. Interment will follow in the Croton Union Cemetery, Treadwell.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11AM Tuesday until service time.
