Born on February 10, 1948, in Cooperstown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Dorothy (Schmitt) Pashley.
Known to many as “Marge,” she brought joy and warmth wherever she went. Her love for flowers was evident in the time she spent tending her gardens, a place of peace and beauty she cherished deeply. Marge also enjoyed scrapbooking weekends away with her daughter, Kelly, and traveling adventures with her dear siblings, Donna and Sally. Above all, her greatest joy was her family—especially her great-grandchildren. Her smile was ever-present, and she had the rare gift of turning strangers into friends with a simple conversation.
Marge was a devoted member of the Aldrich Baptist Church in North Franklin.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jack Ritz of Franklin; her children, Mike (Dawn) Ritz and Kelly (G.X.) Cramatte; her grandchildren, Ross (Becca) Todd, Sarah Todd, Zak Orcutt (Kelly Kessler), Jonathon (Paige) Ackley, and Kyle (Kristin) Ackley; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Arielle and Josephine Todd, and Lainey Ackley. She also leaves behind her loyal dog, Gidget; her siblings, Rick (Donna) Pashley and Sally (Roger) Adams; her sister-in-law, Deb Brienza; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Tarry Brienza.
