Nancy was my oldest and dearest friend. I think we were about 4 years old when we met. Somehow her family put up with the weird kid that would knock on the door every day to see if Nancy could ‘come out and play’. We grew up together, played dolls, rode bikes, jumped rope. Discovered boys, bras and make-up (with help from her older sisters, thank goodness.) We had kids, got married (she was my maid of honor), had more kids, got divorced. I got to spend a lot of time with Christina when she was little and Nancy was a big part of my daughters’ lives when they were growing up, so much they consider her more of an Aunt than their actual Aunt.
Eventually life took us down different paths but thankfully somehow those paths continued to crisscross over the years. I’ll always be forever grateful for those times when we met up again, here and there, to catch up on our lives, our children’s lives, our parents and siblings, stories of the hilarious things our grandchildren did or said.
Nancy had a big, kind heart and a gentle soul.
Mine and my family’s thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
Love you always,
Rest In Peace my friend. 💖

As a child, I shared a room with my big sister Nancy. I am sure she wasn’t always thrilled about that but she never let it show. She always comforted me during storms and bad dreams. She took care of me. But what I have always clearly remembered is sitting on my bed watching her practice her guitar by playing Billy Joel songs. Over and over. To this day, every time I hear “She has a way about her” or “She’s always a woman to me” I think of Nancy and her guitar. She did have a way about her. She was always kind, with a fun spirit and energy.

Derrick ( her nephew) and I were so sad to here of Nancy’s passing. She was always such a ray of light and made everything light-hearted and fun. She was so strong and loved her family deeply. We will miss her dearly and it brings us comfort in knowing she is amongst the angels and free from pain. Our whole family is blessed to have her watching over everyone,

I got to know Nancy when she worked at Rich’s Auto Body. She was a loving caring person. She had a great love for family and I think that’s why we hit it off so well because of our love for family. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful Angel. I will be forever grateful for having known her. May her family find peace and joy in the memories they have of her and know she will forever be watching over them. God Bless you all . 🙏🏻❤️👼🏻
