Albert was a man who measured his life in steady effort and quiet integrity – someone who believed in showing up, doing the work, and doing it the right way. He provided for his family through the years as a truck driver, and even when others would have stepped away, he continued working, living out a lifelong commitment to responsibility and perseverance.
He married the love of his life, Terrye, and through their everlasting love, being married 62 years, they built a family that was the center of his world. Albert and Terrye were blessed with three children, and in his home, setting a good example mattered. He instilled in his children a strong work ethic – lessons taught not by speeches, but by the way he lived each day.
Albert found enjoyment by spending time with his family, lounging by the pool, listening to music and searching for recipes on YouTube, watching various sports on TV, and going to NASCAR and NHRA races – simple pleasures that brought him relaxation, conversation, and connection.
Albert is survived by his wife, Terrye Hatfield of Carlisle, OH; his children, Carla Baker (Timothy) of Morrow, OH, Robin Hatfield of Carlisle, OH, and John Hatfield (Kelly) of Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Jonathan Hensley, Danielle Hensley, Samantha Sturgis (Bo), and Kaitlyn Hatfield; great-grandchildren, Bryce Cooper, Jayce Cooper, and Scarlett Sturgis; sister, Betty Parrot of Annville, KY; along with numerous extended family members and close friends.
