

Alice F. Jackson 84 of Springboro passed away Saturday morning June 9, 2011 at home. She was born in Warren County the daughter of John and Rosa (Heiss) Fish. A graduate of Springboro High School in 1945 she had several jobs over the years as well as raising 3 boys. She worked at NCR, Springboro Hardware, and for her son, Curt at Springboro Taxidermy and later the Leather Gallery. Alice loved the Reds and enjoyed listening to Waite and Joe on the radio. She also kept up with the Springboro athletic teams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Fish Jr., 2 sisters, Anna Mae Greenup and Millie Adams.
Alice is survived by her 3 sons, Curtis (Tammy), Glenn (Dee) and Daryl Jackson, her loving friend, James Fields, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Sam Fish, a sister Lucille Logan and former husband, Herb Jackson.
A Life Celebration service will be held Thursday 7 :00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St. Springboro. Friends and family are invited to gather together beginning at 5 : 00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
