

Allie "Eileen" Aldridge, age 78, of Franklin, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 12, 1933 in Jeremiah, Kentucky, the daughter of John Hampton and Fannie Adams Hampton. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Aldridge; one daughter, Carol Steve Cockerham of Middletown; one son, Dan Denise Aldridge of Franklin; four grandchildren, Shannon Heath Minton of Carlisle, Michael Libby Aldridge of Franklin, Reverend Casey Ashley Cockerham of Beavercreek, Ohio, Josh Stacy Cockerham of Franklin; great grandchildren, Miranda, Meghan, Mikayla, Elyce, Sophia, Thomas, Emily, Ben, Leah, and Ella; one brother, Troy Hampton of Franklin; and three sisters, Alta Combs of Clarksville, Ohio, Ila Mae Cloud of Middletown and Ruth Smith of Jeremiah, Kentucky. The family wishes to thank Hospice for all their care. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Artie Davis, Flarie Caudill; three brothers Hendricks Hampton, Arnold Hampton, Earl Hampton; and one brother-in-law, James Aldridge. Kenneth and Allie enjoyed fishing and quilting together and enjoyed their pets, Sami, Misti, and Jesse. They were active members of Grace Baptist Church, serving together as primary department superintendent leading many children to a personal relationship with the Lord. They interpreted for the deaf for many years at the church. Allie enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at the Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at the Grace Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Members Helping Members, c/o Grace Baptist Church.
