Alonzo Powell

Alonzo Powell, age 75, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio. He was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on July 16, 1947, the son of the late James Edgar and Mauhee (Saylor) Powell.

Alonzo is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet (Isaacs) Powell; a son, Brian Keith Powell; his daughter, Angela Gail and her husband, Danny Preston; three grandchildren, Katelyn Brianna Powell, Danny Dale Preston, Jr. and Jessica Nicole Preston. He is also survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in- law, Brenda and Jeff Johnson, one sister, one brother and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Anderson Funeral Home- Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, followed by a service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Alonzo's final resting place will be in Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio.
