Analee Short, age 83, formerly of Middletown, OH; died Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in Georgetown, OH following a brief illness with brain cancer. Analee was born in Mercy County, WV to the late Walter Howard Hatcher Sr.
Analee was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie G. Short in 2002, her daughter, Sonja Lee in 1964, and her sister, Annel Hall. She is survived by her two children, Barbara J. (John) Howard, Brian (Melynda) Short; her grandchildren, Jason (Erika) Derrough, Nikki (Alexander) Dasenbrock, Faith (Hunter) Werner, Tyler Short, Lanie Short; numerous great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter, her brother, Howard Hatcher Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH from 11am to 1pm. The Funeral Service will be 1pm Thursday with Reverend Matt Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
