

DEATON, Arnold age 77, of Middletown, promoted to glory on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born August 4, 1938 in Frozen Creek, KY, the son of Tommy and Mary Lou (Tolson) Deaton, and raised in Poasttown by Morton and Effie Spencer. Arnold worked as a butcher and for Culligan Water and Sorg (Bay West) Paper Co. retiring in 2004. His hobbies included fishing and gardening. He was also a huge WWE, Nascar, and Bengals football fan. He thoroughly enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by three daughters, Kim Weiss of Middletown, Beth Ann Harris of Irvington, Alabama, Deborah Carpenter of Middletown; one son, Tommy Deaton of Middletown; six granddaughters, Leah, Jennifer, Ashlee, Mikala, Alysia, Anastasia; seven great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jacob, Trent, Kalob, Kavin, Grayson, and Aleena; brother, Luke Deaton; sisters, Josephine Deaton-Whalley and Maryetta Deaton-Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 56 years, Janice Rae (Downs) Deaton in March of 2014; and son-in-law, Johnnie R. Weiss. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Major Sebastian Leonardi and Major Hollie Leonardi officiating.
