I had the honor of calling him "Uncle"! Uncle Asa was a kind and gentle man; one who proudly served our country. He & Aunt Dorothy were two of the most generous and giving people I've had the privilege of knowing. Everyone who knew them, loved them!
My most fondest memories will be the Thanksgiving's we shared! Aunt Dorothy's pumpkin pies and Uncle Asa's pipe were the smell of home. Their marriage was one to envy, as they always showed one another respect and love.
They welcomed me into their family with open arms and never looked back! For that, I am thankful! Uncle Asa will be greatly missed by all who knew him. R.I.P. Uncle Asa and give everyone in heaven a BIG hug from me! Love you always, Missie
